STUDENT TRIPS TO ATHENS 7-Day Classical Tour

Day 1:
Arrive in Athens. Meet me at the airport.
You will immediately be transported to the very impressive Corinth Canal.
The ancient city of Corinth lies at the foot of Acro-Corinth, the hilltop, where in ancient times the Citadel of Corinth almost impossible to be seized, used to be, and where later, the Byzantines and Frankish Crusaders built their impressive Castle. Overnight in Nafplion

Day 2:
In the morning visit Mycenae. The Lion’s Gate, the cyclopic walls and domed graves combined with a walk from the Heraion of Argos to the excavation site of Mycenae.
In the evening, you will have time to admire the well-known theater of Epidaurus. Overnight in Nafplion

Day 3:
Drive to Olympia. Visit the Temple of Zeus and Hera and the Olympic Stadium, as well as the museum. A day to remember as this is where the Olympic Games originated.
Dinner and overnight in Olympia

Day 4:
Via Patra to Delphi. While crossing from Rion to Antirion, you will experience the largest bridge in Europe.
Early in the afternoon, you will visit the ruins of the renowned Oracle of Delphi and the Temple of Apollo. Later on, you will visit the museum with the famous charioteer.
Dinner and overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 5:
After a stop at a beautiful Byzantine monastery, Osios Lucas, you will drive towards Athens.
After checking in to your hotel, you will visit the National Archaeological Museum.
Dinner in a charming tavern and overnight stay in Athens.

Day 6:
The last day is dedicated to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the Greek Agora, preceded by a 3D Presentation about the Acropolis during the times of Pericles, which will give you a realistic glimpse into what life was like during that era. This will make the visit to the Acropolis a more enriching experience.
Farewell dinner at a charming tavern and overnight stay in Athens.

Day 7:
Transfer to the Athens International Airport and flight back to your country.
