BOOKINGS can be made by submitting one of the booking forms that you find linked or in the footer of our websites, and can be settled through our Bank Secure website, using a credit card, at no extra charge. The payment means full knowledge and acceptance of the terms and conditions, mentioned herein. Please,visit our “4 steps to book and secure booking”, see the steps that you must follow in order to make, secure and pay for your booking. Enter your names as they are written in your passports, and in the trips by train, we also need the date of birth of each passenger. The hotel in Athens is compulsory, plus, we prefer a mobile phone No. (with the prefix) that you may carry with you during your stay in Greece. Please, wait for our confirmation before you proceed to the next step and make the payment. As soon as we receive the message from the bank that the transaction is done, we shall release ad send you the vouchers.

PAYMENTS can be made either by using your credit card in the secure Alpha bank website, or, by visiting our premises in Athens ( click and see location and details) and pay either with your credit card, with your MASTERPASS Alpha digital wallet, or by paying in cash. Bookings that are not settled up to 15 days before departure, will be automatically cancelled.

SECURE BANK WEBSITE TRANSACTIONS: We use the SSL protocol, with 256-bit encryption, with the aim of securing online transactions. All your personal information including your credit card number, name, and address, are encrypted, and are inaccessible by others and unchanged during their Internet transfer. We try to protect your security and privacy, ensuring you that we are a safe website. We do not see or store your credit card details at any stage during or after the transaction.

CURRENCY: All our prices are in Euro, and if paid in other currency, the sum is converted to the equivalent amount in euro by the bank. F.Y.I. you can get an approximate estimation, using the currency converter: http://www.xe.com/ucc/. The exchange rate is the rate on the day of your payment. In your credit card account the charge will appear as “Astoria Travel, Athens.”

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: You have the right to cancel your tour.
Any money due will be refunded within 20 working days in your credit card.
For the 2 or more day tours a 40:00 € charge per booking is deducted to cover the time we spent on your request.
In addition to the 40.00 €:
– There is no extra cancellation fee if you cancel at least 7 days before departure.
– There is a 25% cancellation fee if you cancel between 6 and 3 days before departure.
– If you cancel within 2 days before departure, you either pay 50% cancellation fee, or, you change to another departure day, if there is availability free of charge.
– If you do not show up on the departure day you will be charged the full amount.
– In case of bad weather conditions, governmental actions, or, strikes that affect the departure of the tour, no fees are charged.

CHANGE DATE or ITINERARY: Such changes are free of charge up to 2 days before departure, upon availability.

Personal data/information: Your personal data/information are carefully kept in accordance with relevant Greek articles of legislation (Law 2472/1997 for the protection of the individual and data of personal nature), as it has been expanded by the decrees of the President of the Committee for the Protection of Private Data and Information, such as 207/1998 and 79/2000 and Article 8 of the Law 2774/1999, and European Law (Directives 95/46/EU and 97/66/EU).

Insurance: No insurance is included. We recommend that you contact your insurance company in your country and make arrangement for trip insurance.

Responsibility: Astoria travel and its partners are not responsible or liable for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings, nor personal injury, accident or illness.
Astoria Travel reserves the right without notice, to withdraw all or any part of the tour and make necessary changes of the itinerary, cancel part of the visits…etc due to weather, restoration of a site or for security reasons before or during the tour.
Astoria Travel, acts as an agent in securing hotel; transportation and other travel services and shall not be liable for any failure by any person or company to render such services.
Furthermore, we reserve the right to decline to accept or to retain any person as a passenger should such person’s behaviour or actions impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare and enjoyment of the other passengers in the group.
